I was at a wedding at one of my cousins I guess. I invited all my best friends. Everyone came but two of my best friends are continuously talking and I had to ask them a hundred times to have lunch. I even stopped eating my feast in between to make them have it. But they were talking and not even acknowledging me. By the time they sat for lunch, food had finished and I couldn't eat anything. So one of them is a female and is in a relationship and the other one is a male and also my crush. There was another friend of mine with them. In real life, we do not even text each other but we are in the same group of best friends. He was the only one who seems to listen to me. I didn't remember him until I saw this dream.
Dreams often reflect our subconscious feelings, relationships, and desires. In your dream, various elements suggest themes of frustration, the feeling of being overlooked, and the dynamics of your friendships and crush.
Wedding Setting: A wedding typically symbolizes union and celebration. It could represent your desire for connection, both in terms of friendship and potential romantic relationships.
Your Best Friends Ignoring You: This part of the dream can reflect feelings of being undervalued or neglected in your relationships. You made an effort to gather everyone for lunch, highlighting your desire for camaraderie and recognition. Their lack of acknowledgment could signify a fear of not being heard or appreciated by those you care about.
Food and Sharing: Food often symbolizes nourishment and sharing experiences. The fact that you were unable to eat may point to feelings of deprivation or disappointment, particularly in terms of emotional or social fulfillment. It could suggest that you feel your needs are not being met in your social circle.
The Dynamic with Your Crush: The presence of your crush and the fact that you were very aware of their relationship suggests a complexity in your feelings. You may be grappling with your emotions toward this individual while feeling sidelined by their ongoing relationship, which ties back to feelings of longing.
The Other Friend: The friend who listens to you, despite not being prominent in your thoughts recently, may represent a part of you that desires deeper connections and understanding. His attentiveness in the dream could symbolize your need for someone who truly engages with you and values your presence.
Overall, your dream seems to reflect your feelings of frustration in your social relationships and perhaps an unmet desire for recognition and connection, particularly in connection to your crush and your close friends. It might be worthwhile to explore these feelings in your waking life, perhaps discussing them with your friends to foster better communication and support.
